Marten River Lodge sits on the boarder of zones 40 and 41 and as the lodge is not eligible for the moose hunting tags handed out by the Ministry of Natural Resources hunters must apply on their own and may apply for either district. Usually the larger groups are successful in their applications; however individuals have had some luck.

The lodge is surrounded by Crown land with miles of old logging roads and acres of marshes to hunt in. Our moose population is on the increase and it’s not unusual to see moose while you’re fishing.

We have cottage rentals available and we can accommodate your group with guiding, ATV rentals or retrieval of the Moose. Our cabins are completely equipped with linens, towels, microwaves, stove, refrigerator, washrooms, and propane heat. Every convenience for a comfortable hunt. We have 9 cabins varying from 1 bedroom to 4 bedroom in size to accommodate a variety of hunting groups.

Special Ontario Moose Hunters rates in October- Special package rates include housekeeping cottage rental. We do have guides available please call for rates.

Weekly rate:
1 bedroom cottage - $600.00
2 bedroom cottage - $700.00
3 bedroom cottage - $800.00
4 bedroom cottage - $960.00

20% deposit required to hold the reservation. The balance may be paid by cash, traveler's cheques, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express No personal cheques please
