Hello! We are Tom and Nadine and we’re the proud parents of twin boys Daniel and Anthony.  Prior to owning Marten River Lodge we have spent the last 24 years in the airline industry.  Our airline career has provided us the opportunity to see and live in so many wonderful places.   The years we’ve spent in the travel industry have taught us much about the importance of excellent customer service.

Throughout those memorable years we’ve always had the dream of owning our own business, one that would allow us to follow our passion for the outdoors, raise our boys in a healthy well rounded environment and allow us to continue our love of working in the service industry

Since taking ownership of Marten River Lodge the number one question we have been asked is “what made you make such a life style change?”  Well, many years ago a very wise man told me he believed that most people in life do what they believe they should be doing verses what they really would like to be doing.  Since my high school years those words have stayed with me and continue to remind me that you only live life once, and that change is something not to be afraid of but to embrace.  That being said, it is one of the many reasons that we now find ourselves living the dream of owning our own lodge in one of the most pristine areas we’ve ever known.

Our journey at Marten River Lodge began in August 2007 and since then our experiences have only confirmed our decision through the fantastic friendships made both from the community we now live in as well as the guest we have been honored to host.
