Activities

Kids young and old can find lots to do at Marten River Lodge, no matter what the weather may have in store.
Here is a list of just some of the activities near our lodge:

Hiking in Northern Ontario

Take a Hike! Yes there are as many hiking trails here as there are ATV trails. How far would you like to go today? The hiking on the trails is relatively easy and you are welcome to discover as much as you’re up for. There’s even a good chance you’ll come across some wildlife tracks!

The Beach

Our location provides calm waters, a sandy beach, kayaks and canoe, hydro cycle and water slide all free for everyone to enjoy. We also have an array of lounge chairs on the beach so you can sit back, relax and enjoy our sunny summers with your favorite beverage or that book you seem to never have time to read!

The Grounds

Enjoy a game of basketball, horse shoes, or a camp fire – it’s all available for guests to enjoy at their leisure.

Sunsets

There’s nothing quite like a Northern Ontario sunset with its ensemble of colours – each always different from the other. It’s quite peaceful to have a nice dinner followed by some quite time out on the deck watching the sun creep below the horizon. If you’re looking for some serenity away from it all, this is the place to be!
